Use a subquery

In general, you would not want to nest two queries like this. That would mean the query is only returning the data once. It’s much better to have the second query be a subquery that is just returning something else. This is a rare situation, but it can be useful. The point is, that the result set of the outer query is not supposed to change. In this particular situation, that’s not a problem.
