History:

Madison Tax Service started in 1958, New York City with James F. Madison and Yvonne Madison. James has started doing taxes while in the Army for many of the soldiers. Yvonne was able to get many of her friends who worked for The Welder Union in New York City to have James prepare their taxes. Our motto has always been treat clients like family. That’s the best advertisement you can have is repeat business.

Now 54 year later we still provide the same services.  Darryl Madison who is now running the firm believes, “An informed client is our best customer.”  Educating clients to the best way to file a client’s taxes is important not only Madison’s business but to the clients themselves.  It’s important to know what options are available for them not only now but in the future with their financing, growing family and income.  Tax business should not only be about filing taxes but about finance, investing, insurance options and business strategists.  Darryl believes if a client can be bright enough to work for a living they’re bright enough to understand what they need to do to get a better tax return.  “It’s a partnership doing taxes not a process.
