Urdu is the official language of Pakistan, where every male above the age of five speaks Urdu.
As with many other languages, Urdu is derived from the Indo-Aryan language. So it includes verses from the Naiḍee of the Poets. Some poets wrote in the Hijayee of the Naiḍee and some in the Tareeq. As these poems were oral in nature, it’s very difficult to say if that was the case with all of them or which verses were recited by each poet. There are small differences between the Naiḍee of the Poets and the Hijayee of the Poets.
As mentioned above, the verse were recited as a part of evening prayer and when recited in the salat-e-subha, the verses are present both in the Hijayee and the Tareeq of the Naiḍee of the Poets. The azan-e-Naat of the Naiḍee of the Poets were also recited in the time of the Prophet.
That said, the Shaikh-e-Mihdadi Muhammad Raees Ahmed (1674) and the Shaikh-e-Jilani Ahmad Hussain (1683) were the first to compile the Gulgasht-e-Aazam. In this new Naiḍee, the azan-e-Naat was recited in the Tareeq of the Naiḍee and the verses were written both in the Hijayee of the Poets and the Tareeq of the Naiḍee of the Poets.
